Acne which is one of the most commonly experienced skin issues in most people is characterized by occurrence of small nodules on the face that may be white, black of red in colour. This condition is chiefly found in teenagers as well as in women during menstrual cycles.
What causes acne?
The problem of acne is chiefly caused due to over-activity of sebaceous glands. This in turn results in excessive production of oils by these glands. As a result, hair follicles get blocked and lead to the occurrence of acne on the skin. Hormonal imbalance, intake of excessively oily, spicy, greasy, sour and salty foods is generally held responsible for occurrence of acne.
